COVID-19: Fighting the Crisis Together

When the pandemic shook the world, what people needed most was not just aid — but compassion, urgency, and action. Let’s Share A Meal stepped in without hesitation, working around the clock to support those hit hardest by the crisis.

• Starting in June 2020, we partnered with the Jersey City Mayor’s Office to bring relief directly to families affected by COVID-19. Every month, we delivered grocery boxes, freshly cooked meals, and masks — not just feeding bodies, but lifting spirits. Each box was filled with essentials: oil, sugar, salt, rice, pasta, sauces — the basics that bring dignity and warmth to a home.
• As the need grew, so did our mission. We joined hands with Paterson City to expand our reach, ensuring no family was left behind. In the Dominican Republic, we donated over 2,000 masks. In Jersey City, we delivered PPE kits to frontline workers in local hospitals — because those who protect us deserve to be protected.
• When India was ravaged by its deadly second wave, we didn’t wait. Within days, we delivered 115 oxygen concentrators to overwhelmed hospitals and families gasping for hope. When healthcare systems collapsed, we moved fast — led by empathy, fueled by urgency, and backed by a global community that refused to stand still.
