What We Do
Once a month, on the third Saturday, our community gathers with a simple but powerful mission: to prepare and serve 500–1000 hot, wholesome meals to local shelters and individuals in need.
It’s not just a food drive — it’s a day of community, reflection, and seva (selfless service). With smiles all around — we come together to pack each meal with love, care, and intention.
Why It Matters
This initiative is deeply rooted in the Sikh value of “Vand Chakko” — to share what we have with others. In today’s fast-paced world, taking a few hours out to give back does more than just feed someone — it reminds us what it means to be human.
For those receiving a meal, it’s a warm reminder that they’re seen and cared for. For those giving, it’s a chance to reflect, reconnect, and feel purposeful.
Bring Your Kids Along
One of the most meaningful parts of our drive? Watching children participate. From packing the meals to loading delivery vehicles, they learn that giving isn’t just an act — it’s a way of life.
It’s a beautiful way to show the next generation what kindness, empathy, and community action look like — in real time.
